WHO interREGIONAL MEETING 2024

In July 2024, Ment had the privilege of co-organizing and co-managing the First Interregional Meeting on the Governance of the Private Health Sector alongside the World Health Organization (WHO). This significant initiative aimed to advance universal health coverage and health security through effective engagement with private health sectors across MENA.

Organizing this high-profile meeting presented several challenges. These included:

  • Complexity of Visual Design: Creating a cohesive event identity that resonated with the meeting’s objectives while ensuring consistency across all visual assets.
  • Logistical Coordination: Managing the production of various onsite components, such as stage design, mini expo setup, sound and lighting arrangements, and registration.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Working effectively with multiple stakeholders, including designers, suppliers, and technical crews, to ensure all elements were seamlessly integrated.
  • Time Constraints: Delivering high-quality outcomes within tight timelines, necessitating efficient project management and execution.

Our Solution

To effectively manage these challenges, the Ment team implemented several strategic actions:

  • Event Identity Development: Conducted thorough research to establish a visual identity that aligned with the objectives of the meeting, ensuring that all designs are impactful.
  • On-Ground Asset Production: Coordinated the production of on-ground assets, from stage setup to sound and lighting arrangements, creating an immersive and engaging environment for participants.
  • Mini Expo Design: Developed a mini expo showcasing innovative practices in health governance, which encouraged interaction among attendees.
  • Vendor Management: Fostered strong communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that all elements—from design to execution—worked harmoniously together.
  • Quality Control: Oversaw the entire production process, implementing meticulous checks to maintain high standards and deliver a flawless event.
